Mike Huges plans to prove to everyone that the Earth is flat.
He is a 61-year-old limo driver who doesn’t believe in science and who decided to take this theory to another level.
Mike Hughes plans to launch a $20,000 rocket to prove once and for all that the earth is actually flat.
Recently Mike Huges started a countdown to launch a self-thought rocket into the atmosphere, near the ghost town of Ambay, California.
“If you’re not scared to death, you’re an idiot. It’s scary as hell, but none of us are getting out of this world alive. I like to do extraordinary things that no one else can do, and no one in the history of mankind has designed, built and launched himself in his own rocket.” Hughes said
People try to discourage him calling him eccentric, quirky, foolhardy but he doesn’t seem to mind all the critics. He is quite detriment to finish his project and to finally prove to everyone that we all believe in a big lie.
He actually spend several years building this rocket and now when he finally got the approval of the town’s owner, the launch will take place in following months.
“I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the area, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust. But that’s not science, that’s just a formula. There’s no difference between science and science fiction.” Hughes added
Believe it or not, this isn’t his first time
His first launch was in 2014 in Winkelman, Arizonan where he jumped on a privet property and launched himself 1,374feet into the atmosphere.
After his landing, he collapsed and was in coma for 3 days until he finally fully recovered.
Our society need more people like Mike who are not afraid to chase their dreams and their believes even if that means that the odds are not in their favor.
We sincerely hope that completes his mission and that he will become the first human to prove that the earth is actually flat.
